Week Two - Where in the World are we??

 

Then another step, then another step, and so on!

WE DID IT!  We traveled from the Welland International Flatwater Center in two weeks!

This week we travelled 3,572 kilometers!   

We didn't want to overshoot Vancouver, so we meandered a little.

We passed through Wawanesa, Nesbitt, Souris, oak Lake Verden, Elkhorn, and into Saskatchewan where we continued on : Moosomin, Whitewood, Broadview, Grenfell, Wolseley, Indian Head, Lumsden, Betheny, Findlater, Domo, Chamberlain, Aylesbury, Craik, Girvin, Davidson, Bladworth, Kenaston, Hanley, Dundern, Saskatoon, Langham, Borden,Radisson, Fielding, Maymont,Ruddell, Denholm, Battleford, Highgate,Delmas, Bresaylor, Paynton,Maidstone, Waseca, Lashburn, Marshall,

and we stopped at a little town called Lloydminster to visit Hope Floats members Sondra Beach.  We miss you Sondra!   It's cold out there!

Next we crossed into Alberta:

Kitscoty, Vermilion, Minburn, Innisfree, Ranfurly, Lavoy, Vegreville,Mundare,  the tip of Beaverhill Rangeland, Elk Island National Park, Ardroson, Sherwood Park, Edmonton, Acheson, Stony Plain, Beach Comer,Wabamun, Fallis, Gainford, Entwistle, Lobstick, Wildwood, |Leaman, Nojack, Niton Junction, Carrot Creek, Edson, Ansell, Marlboro, Obed, Drinnan, Hinton, Entrance, Jasper East Cabins, Jasper, Jasper National Park, onto the Icefields Parkway and into

The Rocky Mountains!   

We kept on going!   Athabasca Falls,  Sunwapta Falls, White Goat, Saskatchewan River Crossing, Kootenay Plains Ecological Reserve, Cline River, Nordegg, Kananaskis, Exshaw, Dead Man’s Flats, Bow Flats Natural Area, Canmore, Harvie Heights, Anthracite, Banff, Spray Valley Provincial Park, Kootenay National Park, Kootenay Crossing,

Into British Columbia, first stop Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Windermere, Fairmont Hot Springs, Canal Flats, Skootumchuck, TA TA Creek…what???!!!, Saint Eugene Mission, Cranbrook, Lumberton, Erickson, Creston, Nick’s Island, Saimo, Ross Spur, Ootischenia, Gladstone Provincial Park, Christina Lake, Grand Forks, Almond Gardens, Midway, Kettle Valley, Rock Creek, Oliver, Fairview, Orofino Winery, Keremeos, Hedley, Princeton, Aspen Grove, Merritt, Lower Nicola, Spences Bridge, Lillooet, Mount Brew, Pemberton,

Oh we HAD to stop at Whistler right???!!!

VANCOUVER!  We are here!

We plan to hang around for a week and do a walk about beautiful British Columbia ended up back here in Vacounver where we will celebrate with our sisters from Abreast in a Boat Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Crew.    We can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

What an accomplishment!   It is mind boggling how far we have come virtually as a team with our supporters.
